Hello and welcome to Archaic Pursuit: A Brewing Blog! In this blog I will chronicle all of my brewing exploits, experiments and general experiences. Archaic Pursuit is about exploring the rusticity of old world brewing techniques, paying homage to the brewers who came before us, and humbly pursuing and applying these styles and techniques as a brewer in the modern world.

Most of my posts will focus on the wild, sour, and funky beers that I am brewing and/or blending (as that is what I am most passionate about), but you can expect to see posts about whatever "clean" beers I am working on at the time as well. In a way this blog will serve as a graphical extension of my own brewing notebook as well as give me a place to gather my thoughts and share my opinions about the art and science of brewing.

Over the last few months I have been taking notes and collecting data so keep an eye out in the coming weeks for my first full post. In the meantime here are a few highlights from my last year of brewing...

Cheers!
